so we were able to take a screen shot....and when she did, the picture that we copied into paint was absolutely normal. Bizarre. Not sure what to say now. Wondering if its their screen resolution or something like that?

So, I'm guessing it's safe to say, that if you don't use Firefox nor do you want to use it, WordPress will probably be a hassle to use. Like some of you for several months now, I have not been unable to access Freshly Pressed, Posts I like, QuickPress, Subscriptions, nor have I been able to add Links to any of my post. I have cleared cache and cookies, went through my plugins to see if they were causing the issue, and have finally spent all other options, other than Firefox. Since I share this computer, I'm unable to add Firefox. Should I leave WordPress altogether?

Hello,

sports tracker is a great toll to control ones trainings. I woul dlike ot add it to my blog. There is a code sportstracker provides, but I dont see how I could use it to include it on the sidebar or as a single page for example. I tried to put it in the sidebar as a pic, because I dont see how to include it as a widget. Neither as a single side: I call it training: It looks weird: http://deichroller.wordpress.com/training/

I have two subscribers and almost 200 views. My blog has only been up for about 5 weeks so I am happy with the responses. I also get some feedback, and none of it has been negative.

May I ask you first to look at our blog: http://indiastreets.wordpress.com/. At the end of each article there is an "About Eric Britton, Editor" block with pic and a few lines of info on the author.

However if you go to the end of any posting on this blog - http://networkdispatches.wordpress.com/ -- there is no such block.

I've used the "Structure" theme in the past. Some things about it I didn't like, but one feature that I really did appreciate was the way the posts were previewed on the home page. That allowed the readers to see post titles and teasers without having to scroll forever through any long posts. I don't want to go back to "Structure," but I would like to find another theme that uses the preview function (or whatever it may be called). Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I tried following the instructions (given by a WordPress guru) for getting the short code for a PayPal button for my wordpress.com site and I can't seem to find out where to download the plugin from, and how to proceed.

Thank you timechief that really helps. The only additional problem i seem to be having is knowing exactly where to paste the tag HTML on my pages and posts. Do i simply put it first in the text box (in HTML mode)? I am as you can probably deduce not a coder!

Hi, I am new to WordPress and php since I am a C# programmer.

I would like to know how to add a small image in the header section of the Twenty Eleven template, on top of the Site Title (as shown in admin/Settings/General) since there is not such option in the Dashboard.

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to get a picture in my theme structure. The only thing that is visible now is a gray space.
I have tried to do this in the appearance menu but i can't find a place to upload the picture.
If you look at the example theme (structuur) you will notice the gray space is filled with an picture.

Can some one please help me...

html works only once in a blue moon for me. I have tried to add many html things in a text widget but it almost never accepts them . instead of the actual html result (a counter, a poll etc) i usually get the code written. that's it

Hi folks,

I took a subscription on my own blog to keep an eye on what mails go out when I post. In the beginning it was just the posts that activated this tool. Some time ago this changed. Pages sent out a mail too, which is fine by me as I often link pages to posts. But together with that good news any slight organizational change that I do on my blog seems to send out a message too. And it does happen regularly that I take out some time to reorganize things... and I get the feeling that I am spamming people who were interested enough to subscribe.

My question is:
Do all subscribers get all those mails (ok, not sooo many - but still..) or is it just for me?
If they do, is there a way (I haven't found) to control when the mails go out?

Okay, i've paid for my URL to be without the wordpress.com but only .com. Now it doesn't display correctly and it seemed i connected the wrong blog to the correct URL (so the .com only) . How do I change it back?

@NH I feel kinda "meh" about getting a larger audience, like I've said I do this mainly for my own amusement and partly to get outsider opinions on my work. It also gives me a place to point strangers to when they question me on photoshoots, I don't seem so weird/threatening shooting an abandoned hospital being demolished if they can pull out their iphone and look up my photo blog.

I too have noticed F.P. loves the photo blogs, getting featured would be funny but I'm not going to hold my breath. Que sera, sera ;)

Were are they coming from??

Can't wordpress just ban them etc.

We should have an option to report them so all the spamming data is collected and monitored and then banned from wordpress.

You may have the lowest stats but you're probably the person among us who is most likely to land on Freshly Pressed. (I don't know if you'll think that's a compliment or not.) F.P. loves longer photography posts and you've got the goods.
