I have a new website with wordpress.org I am trying to add social media to it I want my twitter, facebook, and RSS to it. My facebook is working but
when I put in my twiiter it doesn't work. I have tried both of these

Twitter has not been a problem; however, in FaceBook the posts are appearing multiple times, sometimes days later. I can manually delete them from my notes in FaceBook, but it is a hassle. That's the basic code. I can add anything I want to the code to restyle my horizontal line and it works... except colour. Changing the colour is kind of important because the page background is black and you can't see it if I don't change the colour, but every time I update the page, my code is exactly the same except the colour is stripped out. I've tried: <hr color="#996600" align="center" size="2px" width="80%" /> <hr style="color: #996600" align="center" size="2px" width="80%" /> <hr noshade="#996600" align="center" size="2px" width="80%" /> <hr color="#996600" align="center" size="2px" width="80%"> <hr style="color: #996600" align="center" size="2px" width="80%"> <hr noshade="#996600" align="center" size="2px" width="80%">
The first three are xhtml and the last three are just regular html. Another note, if I use a regular html HR tag, it changes it to an xhtml, which isn't a big deal at all (and actually what I'd prefer to set it as). Also, I know you can't set the noshade tag to a colour, but I decided to try it just for the hell of it anyway. What I don't understand is I can change every single aspect of this EXCEPT the colour. Why? I mean I don't understand why at all this would be an issue. It isn't like it's something that can be exploited like JS or something... | | | | | |

| | | | | | ~3days ago, I commented on a post on 'poorly dressed people of the world' blog. In that comment, I was asked to provide my email, and I selected to only be updated if others commented on my comment. I don't know what happened, but since then I've gotten email updates whenever a new comment is added. I noticed at the bottom of the emailed notice that it has the 'manage subscriptions' link. I hit that, only to be asked to login/create an acct, which I did using the email that I used when I first commented on the post. When I went to the 'manage subscriptions' page, it shows nothing there, but I'm still receiving notices.
I'd like to unsubscribe/only receive updates whenever someone comments on my comment (as I originally marked) but am unsure of how to proceed at this point. | | | | | | I'm working with another person on her wordpress, NatSecLC.com, and we are trying to find the parent page URL to her posts so that we can link to a \"blog\" directly from a parent page on her site... right now, the only thing we can link to is a post directly, which means you have to click through hyperlinks to get from one to the next. to see what I\'m talking about, Natseclc.com --> about the foundation --> blog --> enter after you hit enter, we want it to show the parent page for her blog posts, so you can see multiple posts at once. but of course, as you can see, it just shows the one specific post. How do we find the URL for the parent post so we can make this work how we want it to?

| | | | | | Hello, I just set up theshoeguys.com to redirect to theshoeguys.wordpress.com, and am having some issues with it working. The redirect is happening correctly for me, but not for others. I believe the problem is they need to clear their cache to stop it from bringing up the old site, but they can't figure out how to clear their cache. This is also a business site, and we don't want to worry about old customers not being directed to the proper site. Do you think this issue will be resolved after a day or two? After checking support, I realize that I was using too many categories and tags...not understanding that too many results in not making it to the global tags.
