| | | | | | I have a couple blogs under different usernames, and the themes are quite different, depending on what I'm using them for & what features I want for the blog. There are some themes I LOVE, but which unfortunately, I just don't think would work well for my blogs -- well, I could change one of them to Chateau, which I really like, but until there's an older/newer kind of navigation somewhere other than on individual posts, I don't think I'll be switching to it. \ I also really like some of the themes that I think would be great for an image-rich blog, but I haven't one of those. One of my favorite designs, actually, is Vertigo. Although I generally don't like many of the dark themes, I do like that one (there was a time when I thought that a black background on a website was "cool," but now I think it was overused for a long time, & sometimes the font colors people choose to put on the black background make for difficult reading). I think the only ones I definitely would never choose for my own blog are the sort of "frilly" ones -- like that pink one -- pretty in pink, is it? -- and others that are similar. I liked Ocean Mist and used that for quite a while. I think that the theme someone chooses may say something about the persona they may be projecting in that blog, but not necessarily about the person as a whole. | | | | | |

It's obviously hard to read about things you have no interest in, but do you read something that falls in that category once in a while, just to keep things fresh and gain a new perspective? What have you read lately that meets that criteria? I try to. I try to keep an open mind and look at things from another point of view. It can be hard when it's something you do not agree with, or have any interest in. I try though, I think it helps me grow as a person, or something. | | | | | |

| | | | | | I went to the site you linked to and immediately noticed that the blogger is not using the Digg3 theme as you are. The theme there is Contempt by Vault9. All themes here a coded differently. thesacredpath has supplied the information for achieving the effect that's not in the Digg3 template by supplying what you need to do in the CSS editing to achieve the effect you want on your theme. | | | | | |

| | | | | | I just found this, kinda hard to find post when one (me) misspells the theme name. The issue initially described has been fixed (and thank you) but now a new issue exists. Looking at my site, there are now two featured posts, but no regular posts on the front page. So it now appears that the issue has transformed from the post preceding the featured post disappearing to one of the post preceding the featured post not appearing as the main article on the front page and being immediately placed in previous articles. The behavior is the same with one featured article (checked that already), and if you'd like I can remove one of the featured posts to confirm. | | | | | | Is it possible to attach images to a page that were previously uploaded to a post? I want to create a gallery/ slideshow page containing the images I have previously uploaded to posts. There seems to be no direct correlation between the images currently in my media library and the ability to make a slide show. Do I really have to go back and re upload/ re title each image individually in order to add it to another page? This seems like such a giant waste of time.

| | | | | | Ah, Pete!! I used Greyzed for a long time before switching to Choco for a shorter time before switching to the present Chateau. My first template ever when I joined WordPress was Depo. Boring 50 year old, eh? Well, holy smoke, that means I'd put people to sleep immediately at my advanced age of 67! :-) By the way, someone told me once, after I switched from Greyzed, that she always felt that that theme/template was not as serious as my blog's intent. I knew it always to be true and that the whole grunge look betrayed the message of the blog, but I did. not. care. The artist within so frequently wins out. :-) And now I shall click upon your name link up there to the left.
